As one of eight Funding Information Networks
in NJ, the SCLSNJ Hillsborough branch offers this professional database for
free to the public. As a special
collaboration, they will bring their interactive class to the Hunterdon library
for staff, board members, and volunteers at established nonprofit
organizations. After an introduction to
the database, participants will spend at least half the class using their own
laptops to research grantmakers for their own nonprofit organization.
This class is taught by a Candid (formerly Foundation Center) expert and retired grant writer, Seana Zimmer.
If you are interested in grant funding but are brand-new to the topic, please consider attending the "All About Grants" free workshop at the Hillsborough Library Tuesday evening, March 17 at the Hillsborough Library( just off Amwell Rd - 10 miles from the Flem. Circle). This is not necessary, but might assist those getting started. As always, the SCLSNJ programs are open to the public, not just Somerset County residents.
